BRINK : SFAI PILOT

Map of show

Come join us for BRINK’s first SF show! We will be featuring 25+ student artists from SFAI, the bay area, and farther with works in a variety of mediums!

Date: March 30th, 2019

Time: 7pm – 10pm

Location: SFAI Chestnut Campus, 800 Chestnut St, San Francisco, CA 94133

Some important information to be aware of:

  1. SFAI is public property and should be treated with utmost respect.
  2. Photography is allowed.
  3. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
  4. There are bathrooms, water fountains and vending machines on-site.
  5. Please refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages or arriving intoxicated on school grounds. Smoking is not permitted.
  6. We love pets–believe us–but please leave them at home. Service animals are exempted from this.
  7. This is a mature event, with mature content. Please come to the front table for more info if you are concerned about this with regards to underage attendees.
  8. Please be respectful to the artists, works, and other patrons at all times. If the piece does not specifically say it is interactive, please refrain from touching it. If you are offended by a piece, we ask that you do not engage and respect the artist’s right to voice their unique opinion. Please come to the front table if you have any further concerns or questions, especially safety concerns.
  9. Parking is only two hours around the school, so be prepared to move your car at least one block to avoid a ticket if you plan to stay the full three hours. Please be aware that the staff parking lots are prohibited for visitors.
  10. Please bring: an open mind, good attitude, thirst for art, and friends and colleagues.

The New Genres Department (where the event will take place) is located at the back of the campus, off of Francisco Street, at the end of the staff parking lot. Banners and signs will be posted as a guide as the building is a bit of a maze. The school itself is located at 800 Chestnut Street, between Jones and Leavenworth Street.

BRINK events occasionally contain interactive art, time-based pieces, performances, and talks. We encourage you to engage and talk with artists about their work. Ask questions, make professional suggestions and recommendations, and share contacts with artists you think you might click with. Contact sheets will be available at every artist’s space, as well as a mailing list form for BRINK events at the front table.

THIS EVENT IS FREE
